Nebinger
The Nose

by Nikolai Gogol
new adaptation and direction by Dane Eissler
with music and lyrics by Dane Eissler and Tyler Garamella
January 6-8
The Nose is a fast-paced, absurd, slapstick comedy with music. Grotowski meets Monty Python, with a touch of aggressive French clowning. A troupe of young, angry workers takes over the theater in an act of socio-political theater revolution (even the stage hands are in on it) to tell a story of political corruption, classism, and the plight of the proletariat. Choose a table, order a drink, and be ready for the action to invade the audience in this cabaret-style event.
