Gint
Adapted by Romulus Linney
Directed by Lane Savadove
Part Mountail tale, part Norwegian folklore, and unlike any Ibsen you've ever seen.
Boldly adapted by Obie Award-winning playwright and Philadelphia native, Romulus Linney, Ibsen's masterpiece, Peer Gynt, is reimagined in rural Appalachia for a boisterous evening of Southern folklore. Staged by artistic director Lane Savadove, this production featured a folk music concert every night before the show, complete with beer cheese and home-crafted beer.
Featuring: Sean Lally, Melanie Julian, Isa St. Clair, Sarah Rachel Schol, Lee Minora, Cindy Spitko, Griffin Stanton-Ameisen, Johnny Smith, and Ed Swidey.
