MARAT/SADE

by Peter Weiss  Directed by Brenna Geffers

Staged in the dazzling Rotunda Sanctuary space in West Philly, Marat/Sade became the runaway hit of the 2010 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Featuring a brand new music score performed live by the cast on toy piano, cello, mandolin, and accordion, this production shed the 197os feel in favor of a wildly exuberant and visually polished piece that sets nihilism against hope.
