Bonus Fringe Show
And Tell Sad Stories
of the Deaths of Queens

by Tennessee Williams

directed by Lane Savadove

"We'll slip out later. The air is such a lovely soft blue. Blue like a lunar moth's wing"
EgoPo has been invited back this September  to the Provincetown Theater Festival with this rarely seen Tennessee Williams chamber play. Philly audiences will have the chance to preview the run in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival earlier in the month.

Candy Delaney is a “New Orleans queen” approaching her dreaded 35th birthday.  While Candy is looking for romance, her newest pickup, Karl, is looking for his next drink. This stunning portrait of unrequited love takes us inside Candy’s magical lair, champagne in hand, to witness an intimate portrayal of hope and heartbreak.  And Tell Sad Stories of the Deaths of Queens is presented in special arrangement with Samuel French Inc., a Concord Theatricals company.

"Among Williams's greatest artistic gifts was his ability to awaken compassion for the misfit and the lovelorn by revealing the poetry in their souls. "  New York Times
*Varied seating will be offered for this performance including chair and floor cushions.  Please let us know if you have a preference when booking your ticket.
