Spring Awakening, EgoPo's signature piece, has been staged in four cities, with multiple casts of professional and student actors. A grand sweeping piece of expressionism, EgoPo's production covers a space with hand-crafted fields of flowers that are pulled away throughout the piece to reveal the dirt and darkness underneath. EgoPo's custom masks bring a heightened level of theatricality, allowing for an ensemble to create the many oppressors hovering over this world of childhood.
