  • Lane Savadove

    Founding Artistic Director

    Lane Savadove (he/him) is the Founding Artistic Director of EgoPo Classic Theater, now in its 27th season. He has directed over 40 productions locally, regionally, Off-Broadway, and on NPR. He is a TCG Leadership recipient, Independence Fellow, Drama League Directing Fellow, and Henry Luce Fellow, for which he served as the Resident Director of the National Cultural Center of Indonesia in Surakarta, Java, where he forged a company with Javanese artists. Notable productions: World premiere of John Guare’s Lydie Breeze Trilogy; Beckett’s Company (NPR, Phila Fringe); world premiere of Tennessee Williams’ House Not Meant to Stand (Southern Repertory); dual version of Genet’s The Maids (Jean Cocteau Rep.); Wedekind’s Spring Awakening (Annenberg); Maeterlinck’s Bluebird (Mandell Theater). His EgoPo production of Chekhov’s The Seagull won Philadelphia’s Barrymore Awards for Outstanding Production and Set, among six nominations. He is a Professor and Head of Acting and Directing at Rowan University.

  • Devon Roberts

    Associate Producer

    Devon (he/they) is the new Associate Producer and a long-time theater nerd and arts admin enthusiast. They first got involved in administration as a student, getting elected as the State Thespian Officer of Oregon. Devon is a graduate of Portland State University and an alum of the Orchard Project Core Company. As a professional theater artist, they have produced, directed, and designed across Portland and beyond. They are passionate about equity in the arts and making theater more financially accessible for both audiences and creators. Over the past 7 years, Devon has produced and directed new works across the Edinburgh fringe, Portland Center Stage, Fuse Theater Ensemble, Northwest Theater Workshop, and independently. Outside of new works, they’ve had the pleasure of working with Bag&Baggage, Profile Theater, and BoomArts and Co-produced and directed with Coho Theater. Prior to the pandemic, they were a producing Ensemble Member of Theatre Vertigo and an active member of the Drammy Committee.

  • Gab Fischetti

    General Manager

    Gab Fischetti (they/them) holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College, majoring in both English and Theatre and graduating on the Dean’s List. Their early theater experience includes working as a House Manager and Office Assistant during their collegiate career. They became the college’s Company Manager for Muhlenberg’s Summer Music Theater program. Gab has been a Philadelphia resident for over 6 years and continues towards building community within the theater world and the Greater Philadelphia area. Gab’s interest in the theatre community center around creating accessible theater that uses performance as a vessel for change-making. They have worked with EgoPo Classic Theater for three years and is their current General Manager.
