You are invited to an exclusive evening of private performances by our Indonesian Ramayana collaborators including Papermoon Puppet Theatre, Kalanari Theatre, and Master Dancer Mugiyono Kasido. This will include classical/contemporary dances, puppetry, and music from some of the most respected living performing artists from Bali and Java. Many performers will be making their U.S. debut with this event. Eat, drink, and mingle with all our Ramayana artists in an intimate and relaxed setting. The event features Indonesian hors d'oeuvres, wine, and beer.

Connecting cultural expression and social change, Asian Arts Initiative uses art as a vehicle to explore the diverse experiences of all communities which include Asian Americans.

Located in Philadelphia’s Chinatown North, Asian Arts Initiative is a multidisciplinary arts center offering exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, youth workshops, and a community gathering space. Here, all of us can view and create art that reflects our lives, and think critically, creatively about the future we want to build for our communities.

Parking:

Nearby public parking lots are located along Vine Street as well as on Callowhill between 12th and 13th Streets. Street parking is available throughout the neighborhood.
